To lead the ABE in learning through dynamic Bible teaching and training and to set the overall mood and direction of the ABE for life change.

Team Purpose: An ABE is a six week teaching/training block Sunday mornings designed to equip and outfit the adults of Grace Point. It can be books of the Bible or topics that enrich and challenge adults to grow as students of the Word and more skilled at living it out daily.

Requirements: Must have a growing relationship with Christ. / Must have worshipped at GP for at least 6 months. / Must commit to the mission, vision and core values of GP. / Must be active in the ABE class. / Must have regular Sunday service attendance. / Must demonstrate humility toward others and submission to spiritual authority. / Must refrain from divisiveness or teaching contrary to the church position. / Must surrender the teaching position, if requested, in cases of moral failure, divisiveness, or anything that diminishes the purity and integrity of the ministry.

Things to do: Leads by example as well as by instruction. Therefore the teacher must be giving evidences of the fruit of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23. / The teacher must be doctrinally sound. He should be in complete agreement with the articles of faith as outlined in the doctrinal position of Grace Point. / Be faithful and prompt in arrival to the class. / Must give careful attention to planning the class for optimal 6 week impact.
